Quality healthcare depends not only on skilled professionals but also on safe and functional facilities. In many rural communities, poor infrastructure discourages health workers from accepting postings and limits access to essential services for residents.
In the Anidzi community of the Kwahu Afram Plains North District, Nane Heritage Foundation has worked with local and international partners to upgrade a previously dilapidated health facility. With support in cash and in kind from partners and community members, the facility has seen major improvements and is now able to accommodate health staff and provide essential healthcare services.
While progress has been made, key components such as ceilings, painting, louvre windows, a biodigester, and a concrete apron still require support for full completion. This project reflects our commitment to sustainable healthcare solutions and our belief that every community deserves access to quality health services.
